Munyasa, Lynn Jamilla
Lynn Jamilla Munyasa, 51, of Coralville, died Saturday, June 22, 2013, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. Funeral services will be held at noon Saturday, July 6, at the Grace Fellowship Church in Iowa City, burial will follow at the Oak Hill Cemetery in Coralville. Visitation will be one hour before the services at the church.
A memorial fund has been established in Lynn's memory.

Lynn was born May 5, 1962, in Kenya, and moved to the United States in 2005 coming to Indiana, Texas and settling in Iowa in 2006. She has attended Kirkwood Community College and Mount Mercy University in Cedar Rapids receiving her nursing degree.
Her family includes her three children, Sylvia Pewa, Alvin Pewa and Beverly Pewa all of Coralville; her husband, Ramadhan Mohammed of Kenya; and seven siblings living in Kenya.
She was preceded in death by her first husband and her children's father, Johnny Pewa.
