Reutzel, Paul T. and Betty J.

Paul T. Reutzel, 90, and Betty J. Reutzel, 85, both of Cedar Rapids, died June 12 and June 13, 2012, respectively, at Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy, Hiawatha. Graveside Service: 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 15, at Linwood Cemetery, Cedar Rapids, conducted by Chaplain Joe Kane. Family will greet friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids.

Survivors include their children, Kathy Lint, Paula Taggart, Mike (Diane) Reutzel and Rick (Kathy) Reitzel, all of Cedar Rapids; grandchildren, Stacey (Rod) Dettbarn, Steve Lint, Shelby (Mark) Rasmussen, Tammy (Doug) Crouch, Jason (Stacy) Reutzel, Heather Saldivar and Matt Reitzel; six great-grandchildren; and beloved dog, Molly. Betty is also survived by her cousins, Bob (Sandi) Gardner and Jean (Roy) Meadows.

They were preceded in death by their parents; their grandson, Scott; and a grandson-in-law, Jesse Saldivar. Paul was also preceded by two brothers and two sisters.

Paul was born Aug. 3, 1921, in Sidney, Neb., to Charles and Katrina Reutzel. Paul was united in marriage to Betty Miner. He was a roofer, owning and operating Paul's Roofing and 4 Star Roofing, where Betty was the secretary. He enjoyed playing the slot machines at Tama.

Betty was born June 6, 1927, in Caputa, S.D., to Marie Miner. She enjoyed spending time with her family and playing bingo.
