Dauber, Gladys M.
Gladys M. Dauber, 90, of Central City, passed away at Linn Manor Care Center, Marion, on Friday, Oct. 30, 2009. Services: 10:30 a.m. Monday, Nov. 2, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Prairieburg, by Father Wayne Droessler. The family will greet friends from 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Murdoch Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Central City, with a Scripture service beginning at 6 p.m. Burial: St. Joseph Cemetery, Prairieburg.
Survivors include her husband, Lawrence; daughter, Teresa (Kenneth) McNamara of Prairieburg; and granddaughter, Andrea (Nathan) Wells of Indianola.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Leonard Holub.
Gladys was born April 11, 1919, near Prairieburg. to Paul M. and Mary E. (Lawrence) Holub. She was married to Lawrence Dauber on Feb. 21, 1949. Gladys and Lawrence celebrated their 60th anniversary this year. She and her husband farmed for many years in the Prairieburg area. Gladys was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Prairieburg and a lifelong member of the Altar and Rosary Society.
