Mike Hlas Dec. 20, 2009 11:16 am
Less than seven hours after beating Drake in Iowa City, Hawkeye starter Anthony Tucker was arrested for public intoxication by Iowa City police.
Tucker was arrested at 2:05 a.m. at an apartment complex where there was a skirmish with a cab driver detailed listed on the Iowa City Police's activity log.
In December 2008 Tucker was charged with public intoxication in Iowa City after police officers found him unconscious in an alley behind an Iowa City bar.

I seriously hate writing about this stuff. But it involves the second-leading scorer on the team, second offense in two seasons. It's not good.
What else really needs to be said about this? Tucker will obviously be suspended from his team, again, at the least. And a program that was already in fragile condition has just taken a severe hit.
Tucker was indefinitely suspended from the team Sunday as this Gazetteonline story details.
It was put on Twitter late Sunday morning that Tucker updated his Facebook page with "I'm outta here."
He is 20 years old.
Iowa plays South Carolina State Monday night at Carver-Hawkeye Arena. The Big Ten season starts in eight days.
Tucker is No. 1
