Overnight fire destroys trailer in North Liberty

NORTH LIBERTY - A trailer fire left one Eastern Iowa family homeless Sunday morning.

Several fire crews were called to 53 Holiday Lodge Road in the Holiday Mobile Home Court at about 2:15 a.m.

A North Liberty fire captain told SourceMedia Group that there were people home at the time of the fire but everyone got out safely.

The American Red Cross is helping two adults and an infant with food and shelter.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
