IOWA CITY- Art lovers made their way to downtown Iowa City for the Iowa City Arts festival.
The annual event features an art fair with over 125 vendors selling everything from pottery to photographs.
The festival also features a global village where kids can learn about different cultures.
The art fest brings new people to downtown Iowa City.
“We really try our best to get some top notch entertainers. The art fair obviously is a big draw for a lot of people. So it's really a great event for Iowa City. It builds community and we hope to keep it going for a long time,” said Arts Festival Chairman Gary Appleby.
The art fair continues tomorrow in downtown Iowa City starting at 10 a.m.
Live entertainment starts at noon on the main stage.
