Abrams, Selena Grace
Selena Grace Abrams, infant daughter of Alicia and Thad Abrams of North Liberty, died before her birth Monday, Nov. 23, 2009, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City. Funeral services will be 6 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 1, at the Coralville United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Doug Williams officiating. Private family graveside services will be held at a later date in Des Moines. There will be a time following the services to visit with Selena's family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Selena's memory to the Touching Hearts Program at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics (c/o Sue Swearingen – Labor and Delivery, UIHC, 200 Hawkins Dr., Iowa City, IA 52242).

In addition to her parents, Alicia and Thad, other family includes her brother, Miles; grandparents, Shirley Seales and Cynthia Renner, both of Coralville, Rose and Kevin Seales of Winona, Minn., and Mary Abrams of Phoenix; great-grandmother, Juanita Hickmon of Philadelphia, Miss.; and aunts and uncles, Shauna and Geoff Granseth of Iowa City, Brenna Seales of North Liberty, Shane Seales and Brett Seales, both of Winona, Minn., Shelby and Erich Brill of Beaverton, Ore., Vanessa and Steve Ary of Garrison, Iowa, Suzi and Landis Abrams of Phoenix, Larissa and Jay Flynn of Des Moines and Katherine and Cory Abrams of Santa Fe, N.M.
Selena was preceded in death by her grandparents, Nina and Michael Abrams.
