Letter: Geese are a delight to watch

I live near a lake within city limits. I enjoy the geese who reside nearby. They are amazing.
They mate for life and the male protects the female and the goslings from harm - traits humans could learn from. When they fly, the lead goose (flying a V formation) searches for food, rest and safety from predators. Their various sounds indicate safety, harm, food, etc. They are a delight to watch. God created them for our pleasure and enjoyment.
Airports use border collies to keep birds away from the planes - a win-win situation. Perhaps jobs could be created for cleanup in our city for people looking for work - another win-win situation.
The pictures on The Gazette's front page on June 21 brought tears to my eyes.
