Beverly Renken, 79, of Marshalltown, passed away Tuesday, April 26, 2016, at Iowa River Hospice Home in Marshalltown surrounded by her loving family.
There will be no services at this time. Burial will be at a later date in Hansel Cemetery, Elkport.
Memorials may be directed to Iowa River Hospice Home in Beverly's name.

Beverly JoAnn Hansel was born Nov. 13, 1937, in Garber, Iowa, the daughter of Dale and Marjorie (Waterman) Hansel. She attended school in the Colesburg Community School District, graduating with the Class of 1955. She went on to cosmetology school and opened her own salon, His and Hers Designs, in Marshalltown and Toledo. On Sept. 3, 1994, Beverly was reunited in marriage to Charlie Renken in Iowa City and they had resided in Marshalltown.
Beverly enjoyed crossword puzzles, sewing, cooking, gardening and restoring furniture.
Left to cherish Beverly's memory are her husband, Charlie; children, Scott (Sindie) Zeman of Solon, Steve (Chad) Zeman of Iowa City and Kathy (Charlie) Zeman-Nicholas of Dallas, Texas; grandchildren, Robin, Melissa, Christine, Shelby, Chelsea, Beau, Alex and Colin; and siblings, Shirley, Karen, Sandy and Patsy.
In death Beverly rejoins her parents and brothers Lester, Roger and Neil.
