Letter: Where do Dems go from here?

A great many questions remain to be seen regarding Donald Trump as president and leader. He could have stunning success or quickly tailspin into disaster. Someone this lacking in government operations and foreign policy is bound to make incredible mistakes and breakdowns. It will be interesting to see what agent of change he will be and what was show and empty jargon.
Democrats need to get back on the horse and prepare for 2018 and 2020. Get new credible faces, talk about working class issues, talk to labor and prize mainstream basics like buying homes, affording health care, and distance from the anarchist groups and revolutionaries in the party. In other words, be John F. Kennedy Democrats again. Do that and you win, embrace the radicals and you will forever be on the sidelines. It is that simple. This election was all about Trump, not where to take the country. Democrats, to win, must show they can lead and how and where average income Americans benefit.
Trump will be a well known and defined entity after four years. He may go down as Arnold Schwarzenegger did in California where they couldn't wait to get him out or he could be a Ronald Reagan and have another four to go. We will see. Democrats need to have answers though, just in case. The more they come back to center, the greater their chances to win again.
