Dangerous to continue tinkering with planet

Did you ever think about why we have all these earthquakes and terrible mishaps on this big ball we have experienced in the past and will experience in the future? Wouldn't you think that with all the experience and education our scientists have they would have answers as to how to stop some of these earthquakes?
We have been digging holes for centuries, perhaps creating voids underground, removing the support needed to keep the ground from collapsing, creating earthquakes and disasters.
True we need oil, gas and gasoline and coal for our uses, needs and pleasures, but what is it doing to this planet we live on?
Let's hope the scientists and engineers don't try to plug the volcanoes on this earth. They are like the safety valves on our water heaters and boilers. That's what the volcanoes do, so the digging and mining we do weakens the crust of this earth, causing disaster.
That's not all - why do these people need to keep experimenting with nuclear weapons? Think about it; we talk about savages centuries ago, we're no better. I say we've grown worse.
Let's hold back and live like human beings and not like savages.
