Pair of RoughRiders in midterm NHL draft rankings

CEDAR RAPIDS - Two members of the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders are listed on Central Scouting Service's midterm rankings of potential 2016 National Hockey League draft picks.
Winger Matt Filipe has been ranked by CSS as the 64th-best draft-eligible skater from North America. Filipe, 18, has 12 goals and 12 assists in 32 games this season.
The Lynnfield, Mass., resident has committed to Northeastern University.
Forward Matt Gosiewski is rated the 184th-best North American skater. The 17-year-old from Wilton, Conn., has six goals and five assists in 32 games this season.
Gosiewski is a Harvard commit.
The United States Hockey League has 43 players in the midterm rankings and another 12 alumni. The highest-ranked player is Team USA forward Clayton Keller (eighth).
