Hart, Charles 'Chuck'
Charles “Chuck” Hart, 49, of Iowa City, passed away Friday, March 15, 2013. There will be a gathering time on Tuesday, March 19, at Lensing Funeral and Cremation Service, 605 Kirkwood Ave., Iowa City, from 4 to 7 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to the Hart family.
Chuck was born in Iowa City to Tom and Barbara Hart on Feb. 1, 1964. He attended Clear Creek High School.
Chuck was a pyrotechnician; he loved fireworks, fishing, and playing on the computer. He was also a member of the Hazmat team. Chuck especially adored his cat, Chloe.
Survivors include his parents, Tom and Sherry Hart of Iowa City; a sister, Cindy (Russ) Phelps of Iowa City; his cat, Chloe; and also many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara; grandparents, and an uncle.
