Shirley Ann Fenchel, 80, of Cedar Rapids, died Sunday, Nov. 22, 2015, at Heritage Nursing and Rehab Center. Memorial services: 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 28, at Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories. A visitation will be one hour before the service. Burial: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.
Shirley was born April 3, 1935, the daughter of Virgil and Elsie (Mrazek) Gregory in Cedar Rapids. She was married to Bruce D. Fenchel, and later was divorced.
Shirley was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church and business owner of Doctor's Court in Cedar Rapids.
She greatly enjoyed the outdoors. Shirley was a talented gardener and loved being with her plants and flowers.
Survivors include her two sons, Bruce Fenchel of Marion and Steven (Beth) Fenchel of Traverse City, Mich.; four grandchildren, Jennifer, Emily, Jacob and Natalie Fenchel; sister, Karen (Tom) Martin of Iowa City; nephew, Gregory Klinger; and niece, Debra (William Cleve) Corlett.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
