Leinenweaver, Virginia Elizabeth
Virginia Elizabeth Leinenweaver, 97, of Sigourney, formerly of Webster, died Friday, Nov. 26, 2010, at Manor House in Sigourney. A Celebration of Life service will be held at Powell Funeral Home and Cremation Service in North English at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 30, with the Rev. Vince Homan officiating. Visitation will be today from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in the South English Cemetery.
She is survived by a son, Keith Leinenweaver and his wife, Marlene, of rural South English; three granddaughters, Melinda Miller of Hills, Monica Klipp of Webster and Diane McClaskey of Springfield, Mo.; five great-grandchildren; and a sister, Myrtle Reason of Redmond, Ore.
Virginia was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Leo in October 2000; brother, Virgil Middagh; and sisters, Dorothy Chapman, Pearl Beck, Grace Reason and Audrey Wastney.
A memorial fund has been established for Alzheimer's Association of America and the Webster United Methodist Church.
