Pagel, Craig A.
Craig A. Pagel, 42, of Iowa City, passed away Saturday, the 2nd of July, 2011, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. A gathering time is planned for Thursday, July 7, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Lensing Funeral and Cremation Service in Iowa City.
Flowers or memorial donations may be directed to the Pagel family.
Craig was born June 25, 1969, in Waterloo, Iowa, the son of Paul and Jan Pagel. Craig was a graduate of Iowa City West High School. He worked as a cashier at Barnes and Noble for many years, and he spent the past few years working at Lemme Elementary School.
He was an avid fan of the Vikings and the Minnesota Twins.
Craig leaves behind many relatives and a large extended family at Systems where he lived for many years.
Survivors include his mother, Jan; a sister, Kim Michael (Marc) of Cedar Rapids; and brothers, David of Los Angeles, Calif., and Scott of Temecula, Calif. He also had eight nieces and nephews, as well as aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Craig was preceded in death by his father, Paul; maternal grandparents, Bob and Helen Kline; and paternal grandparents, Irving and Marion Pagel.
