ARTHUR BOYD GOEKE JR.
Grinnell
Arthur B. Goeke Jr., 90, of Grinnell, died Tuesday, Aug. 18, 2015, at Grinnell Health Care Center. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 22, at Smith Funeral Home in Grinnell. Interment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery in Toledo. Friends may call at the funeral home from noon to 4 p.m. Friday and the family will be present at the funeral home from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday.
Memorials may be directed to Camp Courageous or Hospice Compassus and sent in care of Smith Funeral Home, P.O. Box 368, Grinnell, IA 50112.
Survivors include his wife, Nedra Neville of Grinnell; his children, Charles Goeke of Mason, Mich., Janet (Gary) Bartley of Indiana and Thomas (Theresa) Goeke of Pueblo, Colo.; three stepchildren, Dawn Neville of Wiley, Texas, Vickie Neville of Omaha, Neb., and Wayne (Ann) Neville Jr. of Tipton; 12 grandchildren; 15 great- grandchildren; three great-great-grand-children; one sister, Beverly Draphal of Montezuma; and four brothers, Leonard (Anagrace) Goeke of Washington, Iowa, Kenneth (Betty) Goeke of Darlington, S.C., Donald (Carol) Goeke of Sacramento, Calif., and David Goeke of Ottumwa.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Bessie; his parents; one sister, Ardella; and one brother, Keith.
