Deeanna Rae Beckman, a longtime Tucson resident, lost her battle with cancer on May 7, 2016, at the age of 64.
Deeanna was born Nov. 11, 1951, to Jack and Norma Brubaker in Vinton, Iowa. She moved to Cedar Rapids in 1963, graduating from Jefferson High School, Class of 1970. Her last and favorite job in Iowa was working at Cedar Memorial Funeral Home.
In 1989, Deeanna relocated to Tucson, Ariz., to join her husband, Frank. She was employed by Tucson Eye Physicians for 16 years, retiring due to illness.
Deeanna is survived by her husband, Frank; her two brothers, Denny Brubaker of Cedar Rapids and Brett Brubaker (Janet) of Indianola; and many loving friends.
