Milo Adolph Dvorak passed away at age 100 on Thursday, Feb. 25, 2016, at Covenant Medical Center. He was born June 16, 1915, in Carroll Township, near Clutier, son of Frank and Anna (Husak) Dvorak.
Milo married Irene Wacha on April 22, 1941. The couple farmed for many years and Milo also drove a truck for several companies. In his free time, Milo enjoyed gardening and spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Leo Dvorak and Bernie Dvorak; and a sister, Agnes Podhajsky.
He is survived by his wife of nearly 75 years, Irene; two sons, Paul Dvorak of Plano, Texas, and David (Carol) Dvorak of Lafayette, Colo.; a daughter, Camilla (Marvin) Dostal of Clutier; a sister, Mary Ann Mathews of Pueblo, Colo.; two sisters-in-law, Mary Dvorak and Pauline Dvorak; seven grandchildren, Bobbette Burchfield, Brent (Tina) Dvorak, Carey (Scott) Gooch, Britt Dvorak, Craig (Carrie) Dostal, Brad (Angie) Dostal and Kevin (Janet) Dostal; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Milo will be missed by his many friends and family members.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, Feb. 29, at St. Paul Catholic Church, Traer. Burial: Holy Trinity Cemetery, south of Clutier. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 28, at the church, where a service of the rosary will be at 7 p.m.
Memorials may be directed to the family.
