Poole, Sara B.
Sara B. Poole, 88, a resident of Manor Care, died there Wednesday, April 20, 2011, following a long illness. Memorial services: 10:30 a.m. Monday at Cedar Memorial Westside Chapel, by the Rev. William B. Harnish.
Survivors include a son, Richard Poole of Center City; a daughter, Marilyn McOmber of Marshalltown; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and siblings.
Sara was born Feb. 16, 1923, in Leon, Iowa, the daughter of Barden and Hazel (Coffin) Carmena. She married Leonard E. Poole on June 19, 1948, in Leon, Iowa.
She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be missed by her family and friends.
