The Cedar Rapids Metro Economic Alliance is holding a two-part business success series on government contracting.
The first session will be on Oct. 30 from 8 to 9 a.m., at the Economic Alliance, 501 First St. SE.
This session, held in partnership with the Small Business Development Center and Iowa State University Extension and Outreach, will focus on ways businesses may be able to grow by securing government contracts.
The series is targeted toward companies interested in doing business either directly or indirectly with the government, including federal, state, city, municipality or subcontracting.
Julie Fagle, government contracting specialist with Iowa State University, will provide an interactive presentation, explaining the process and advantages of government contracting.
