Do your part — get out and vote this election year
The Gazette Opinion Staff

In this critical election year, we the people need to do all we can to get out the vote and especially to combat the un-American voter-suppression agenda pushed by wealthy and corrupt special interests.
High on the list of citizens' priorities is repairing the damage the Supreme Court inflicted by trashing key sections of our historic Voting Rights Act at the behest of these fat cats.
That is why it is imperative for Congress to exercise the power even the Supreme Court admits they have by immediately passing HR 3899, The Voting Rights Amendment Act. Either support this crucial legislation or enter the next election in express opposition to the right of all Americans to have a free, open chance to cast the ballot of our choice.
What's it going to be, America? Democracy or plutocracy?
