Matt, Marlis Frances
Marlis Frances Matt, 79, of Elkader, died Sunday, Feb. 5, 2012, at the Elkader Care Center following a short illness. Memorial Mass: 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Elkader. Friends may call one hour before services Thursday at the church. Inurnment: Garnavillo City Cemetery, Garnavillo.
Survivors include her husband, Lloyd Matt of Elkader; two sons, Kevin (Carla) Matt of Palo, and Brian Matt of Elkader; one daughter, Julie Matt of Viroqua, Wis.; one grandson, Connor Kevin Rhys Matt; five siblings, Duane (Alberta) Gobin of Rochester, Minn., Gordon (Ruth) Gobin of Rochester, Minn., Ronald (Linda) Gobin of Wanmingo, Minn., Joanne (Stan) Larson of Chester, and Shirley (Tom) Wright of Shell Rock; 14 nieces and nephews; 30 grandnieces and nephews; and five great grandnieces and nephews.
Leonard Funeral Home in Elkader is in charge of arrangements.
