Coles, Sheridan Ann Newcomb
Sheridan Ann Newcomb Coles died Monday, Dec. 12, 2011, in Phoenix, Ariz. Mass of Christian Burial was held Dec. 19 at St. Francis Xavier Church, Phoenix. Inurnment will be at a later date at St. Mary's Cemetery, Williamsburg. Arrangements were entrusted to Universal Memorial Center, Phoenix.
She was born Sept. 21, 1936, to Bill and Winnie Newcomb, natives of Cedar Rapids.
She is survived by her daughters, Katherine, Margaret, Anastasia and Bridget; and nine grandchildren, Monica, Emma and James Wisehart, Cosmo Carvalho and Simone Wesley, Agnes, Winifred and Claire Conrad and Nicholas Pierson. “Sheri” was also survived by four sisters, Caryl Jensen, Winifred Newcomb, Marcia Hogan and Mary Newcomb; and two brothers, James Newcomb and William Newcomb.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Christin Lorett; and her parents.
