Gospel Sunday Dinner to benefit Dream Center

IOWA CITY - A Gospel Sunday Dinner, complete with gospel music by local groups, will be offered as an unofficial end of the Iowa Soul Festival at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the Sheraton Iowa City, 210 S. Dubuque St.

Tickets are $35 and the event benefits The Dream Center.

Attendees will be treated to songs by Bishop Cymaron Dawson and the Living Waters Kingdom Church from Cedar Rapids, as well as soloist Jessica Thomas from Iowa City's Bethel A.M.E. Church; Back Porch Swing and friends featuring Sam Price, Joe Brisben and Eric Madison and Iowa City's Kingdom Center Praise Team performing both traditional and contemporary gospel songs.

A tasty southern style soul food buffet will be served.
