Lois E. Kruger, 85, of Edgewood, died Sunday,
July 27, 2014, at the Edgewood Convalescent Home. Visitation: 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 29, at Leonard-Muller Funeral Home in Edgewood and one hour before the service Wednesday at the church. Funeral: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 30, at the Trinity United Methodist Church in Edgewood, with Pastor Mike Jackson officiating. Interment: Edgewood

Lois is survived by two sons, Terry (Wendy) Armstrong of Central City and Gary (Ann) Armstrong of Elkader; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sisters, Jayne Miller of Edgewood, Eva Jeanne Brecht of Walker, Audrey (Ambrose) Loecke of Edgewood and Joyce (Gary) Barnhart of Greeley; stepdaughter, Linda (Gary) Lake of Edgewood; stepdaughter-in-law, Karen Kruger of Manchester; seven stepgrandchildren; nine stepgreat-grandchildren; and sisters-in-law, Mary Smock of Edgewood, Brenda Smock of Strawberry Point and Carolyn Smock of West Palm Beach, Fla.
Lois was preceded in death by her parents, Russell and Edna Smock; her husband, Burton Kruger; three brothers, Ronald "Bud" Smock, Val Smock and Rick Smock; and one stepson, Lonnie Kruger.
