Seeing what we can see at the Big Ten meetings

Scott Dochterman and I just arrived at the Big Ten AD-coaches meetings here in Chicago.

What's going on? We'll find out. They kick off in earnest tomorrow morning. ESPN.com's Adam Rittenberg has been tweeting from the Sofitel, where the meetings are being held, all day. Essentially, the mantra is "expansion isn't on the agenda, but will be discussed."

Stay tuned. Scott and I literally just got here. Look for coverage tomorrow and Wednesday. Scott handled Chicago traffic swimmingly, by the way.

We're heading over in a few minutes to see what there is to see.

In the meantime, you might know by now that this blog, and all SourceMedia Iowa Hawkeye sports news, will soon live at HawkeyeNow.com. We found out today that June 7 is the target date. If this site works the way I believe it's set up to work, you'll find football, basketball, wrestling, women's basketball and whatever else we do on Iowa. Words will be there with video, including SourceMedia television. But that's what I believe will eventually happen. I'm sure I'll be corrected any second now.
