Kacer, Helen Mildred
Helen Mildred Kacer, 91, of Toledo, passed away Monday, May 16, 2011, at Carrington Place of Toledo, under the care of Iowa Hospice. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 20, at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Tama, with Father Michael Mescher officiating. Interment will follow at St. Patrick's Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the church with a vigil service at 7 p.m.
Survivors include her daughter, Barbara Kacer (and her husband, John Kiraly) of Bowling Green, Ky.; her son, Jim Kacer (and his wife, Carolyn) of Toledo; one grandson, Michael (and his wife, Wondan Hong) Kacer of Iowa City; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and a good friend, Alma Peters.
