Neva J. Fischer, 71, of Strawberry Point, was embraced in the arms of her heavenly father on Monday, Nov. 16, 2009, at Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids, following the diagnosis of cancer. Mass of Resurrection: 10 a.m. Friday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, with the Rev. Paul Peters as Celebrant. Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Leonard-Muller Funeral Home, with a Scripture Service at 7 p.m. and from 9 to
10 a.m. on Friday at the church. Interment: St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Manchester.
