Richard Wayne "Dick" Wiebold, age 78, of Conroy, passed away Monday, Jan. 15, 2018, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. Funeral Service: 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 20, 2018, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Conroy, with Pastor Thomas Ogilvie officiating. Burial will be in the Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Conroy. Visitation: 4 to 7 p.m., Friday, Jan. 19, 2018, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Conroy. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be contributed to the American Lung Association or the Trinity Lutheran Church in Conroy.
Richard is survived by his wife, Evelyn Wiebold; his children, Susan (Michael) Klier of Des Moines, Cathy (Tom) Peters of Conroy, Jim (Callie) Wiebold of Conroy and Angie (Eric) Broomfield of Pittsburg, Ill.; nine grandchildren, Cassie (Matt) DeWitt, Jacob and Nick Klier, Luke and Emma Peters, Anna and Jillian Wiebold, and Evan and Ayden Broomfield. He was preceded in death by his parents; and three brothers, Ralph, Bob and Earl in infancy.
