Hiawatha Quick Mart robbed at gunpoint

Police are investigating a robbery at the Quik Mark located at 655 Robins Road in Hiawatha.
According to police, a man entered the store with a handgun and demanded money from the clerk. The clerk was struck in the head with the gun after turning over the money from the cash register.
The suspect, Anthony D. Kyle, 18 of Cedar Rapids, was arrested and charged with first degree robbery.
The clerk was attended to by the Hiawatha Ambulance at the scene.
