Inmate accused of throwing urine on guard

An inmate at the Iowa Medical and Classification Center has been charged with felony assault for allegedly throwing his urine on a prison guard.
On May 8, Terrance D. Dunn, 36, was upset at a guard, urinated in a cup and threw it at the guard, hitting the guard on the shoes, according to a criminal complaint. Dunn admitted to the act, according to the complaint.
He is charged with of inmate assault with bodily fluids, a class D felony punishable by up to five years in prison and a $7,500 fine.
In January, Dunn was sentenced to two years in prison for assault causing injury on peace officers/others, according to
Iowa Department of Corrections records. His tentative discharge date is Oct. 13 of this year.
