Street repairs could be done in less time

The city wants 10 years for the (local option sales) tax? Is it going to take 10 years to fix the roads? I think not.
In the years coming up, that extra money will be spent wherever they want. Let's split it in half. Make it for five years. Then, hopefully, the issue might pass.
