Janice K. Lucas, 62, of Cedar Rapids, was called home to be with God on Saturday, May 21, 2016. She was an active member of Patriot Guard Riders. Janice enjoyed spending time in her secret garden with her beloved dog, Murphy.
Janice leaves behind her son, Jason (Amy) Feltz and grandchildren, Natalie and Auggie Feltz of Abilene, Texas; and son, Joe (Monique) Derflinger and grandchildren, Jessica Burns, JJ and Abby Derflinger, James (Kaitie) Cortez and great-grandson, Cooper Cortez, all of Cedar Rapids.
Instead of flowers, please donate in Janice's honor to Iowa Patriot Guard Riders, P.O. Box 392, Ankeny, IA 50021.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 6 p.m. July 22, 2016, at Cedar Rapids Family Church, 5335 Midway Dr. NW, Cedar Rapids, IA 52405. Arrangements are by Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Marion.
