I celebrate with the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe of North Dakota and the many protesters after the Army Corps of Engineers decision not to allow tunneling under Lake Oahe.
I am behind you 100 percent even as we know Energy Transfer Partners has breezed through everywhere else and are committed to their march to destroy land and water.
I am grateful to the 3,500 veterans who showed up for the tribe in North Dakota and the Iowa grandmothers who were arrested in Boone, Iowa, as they fear for the future and their grandchildren's water supply.
To Gov. Jack Dalrymple and the Morton County Sheriff Department, history will not be so kind. You have arrested 564 people. You used tear gas, rubber bullets, concussion grenades, attack dogs and water cannons in subzero weather on the protesters. You will be remembered with the fake law enforcement who went after the 1960s civil rights protesters. You can easily look up their snarling faces captured on film for generations to see.
