Police on Thursday released a photo of a man who they say stole tools from a Cedar Rapids store, and are asking for help from the public to find him.
The man took a circular saw and two drill bits with a total value of $143 on the morning of March 22 from Acme Tools, 1943 Blairs Ferry Rd. NE, police said.
The suspect is described as a white male in his late 30s, about 5-foot-7 and 200 pounds, with brown hair. He was spotted leaving the store in a red vehicle.
Anyone with information about the man in the surveillance photo is asked to call Linn County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-CS-CRIME. Tips can be made anonymously, and if it leads to an arrest, a reward may follow, police said.
