Phyllis J. Phelps, 84, died Tuesday, Sept. 1, 2009 at her residence in Vinton following an extended illness. Memorial Services: 2 p.m., Thursday, Phillips Family Center, 605 Second Avenue, Vinton, with Rev. Jack Kendall officiating. Interment at a later date.
She is survived by her husband, Eugene of Vinton; her daughters, Pearl (Charles) Stickels of Douds, Sheila (David Butts) Lynch of Garrsion, her sons, Larry (Glennys) Phelps of Clarksville, Tenn, Kevin (Teena) Phelps of Fairfield; her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
A memorial fund has been established.
