Reader not ready for political rhetoric

To the editor:
There are 21 people running for president of the United States. That's ridiculous. Maybe a few more will jump in. Americans have to listen to this for a year and a half. That, too, is ridiculous.
We want to hear local news over the local stations. No politics. They can give their so-called promises over national news. If anyone wants to listen to their spiel they can turn on national news. Leave the rest of us alone. We won't be beating our brains out. We will listen when the time comes.
