To the editor:
Thank you immensely, Living Center East. We admitted my 88-year-old mother to your skilled nursing facility in May 2015 since the deterioration of her mental and physical health made it no longer possible for her to remain in an assisted living arrangement. Several of us actually suspected that it was the beginning of the end. She could scarcely walk, could not feed herself and had lost weight to a dangerous level. But just three months in your care and my mother is vigorously planning for her 89th birthday.
All of the professional care, kindness, compassion and daily attention from everyone working at Living Center East have provided her with a new lease in her long life. She is walking strongly now, taking herself to meals, feeding herself again, gaining weight to a healthy level and most importantly laughing and talking when we come to visit. Thank you so much, to everyone from the medical staff, to everyone who aids and assists, to the housekeeping and dietary staff. Your results in the rejuvenation of my mother are astounding and deeply appreciated. I love my visits and I love seeing my mother thrive in your care. With sincere appreciation!
