2016 Iowa Caucus Recap: Cruz wins close one; Sanders and Clinton both close to victory

Caucus night has come and gone in the state of Iowa for another year, and this round featured high turnouts and close races on both sides.
See the turnout numbers and final election numbers here. On the Democratic side, Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Sen. Bernie Sanders battled to a near tie as former Gov. Martin O'Malley, with little success, bowed out of the running.
On the Republican side, Texas Rep. Ted Cruz edged celebrity businessman Donald Trump and Republican Sen. Marco Rubio.
