Former Jefferson prep Garman a preseason all-American

Former Cedar Rapids Jefferson prep Ryan Garman has been named a college baseball preseason all-American choice for NCAA Division II.
Garman is a senior at Grand Valley State University in Michigan who went 9-1 with a 1.70 earned run average last season for the Lakers. He transferred to GVSU from Johnson County Community College in Kansas.
