Peterson, David Lawrence
David Lawrence Peterson, 78, of Mimbres, N.M., formerly of Cedar Rapids, died graciously and heroically Feb. 1, 2011, at home from pancreatic and liver cancer. There were no services. Arrangements by Terrazas Funeral Chapels, Santa Clara, N.M.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara; children from his first marriage, David Scott Peterson, John Charles Peterson and Mary Miranda Flynn; sisters, Mary Reinholt, Elaine Brigham and Kristine Mendenhall; and cousins, Denny Peterson, Philip Peterson, Kathleen Mosely, Susan Reed and DiAnne Thomas.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Frances Peterson.
David served in the Army in 1953. He attended Coe College and worked for Collins Radio while in Cedar Rapids. He was owner of Gap Distributing Co.
His family loves and misses him.
