FRANCES "JEAN" MCCULLOUGH

Frances "Jean" McCullough, 72, of Marion, went home to be with Jesus on Wednesday, July 6, 2016, at St. Luke's Hospital in Cedar Rapids. A celebration of Jean's life will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Antioch Christian Church in Marion. Pastor Mark McCoy will officiate. Entombment: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery, Cedar Rapids. Friends may call at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday.
Survivors include her husband, Russell; three daughters, Cari (Warren) Phillips of Robins, Rhonda Galigher of Tullahoma, Tenn., and Kathie (Larry) Grekoff of Marion; a son, Garett (Sheri) Wolverton of Marion; a stepdaughter, Lori McCullough of Eagan, Minn.; and a brother, James Bilbra of Hughsville, Md. She also is survived by 17 grandchildren; 16 great- grandchildren; and three special foster children, Ashley, Shawna and John Jayne.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Joyce; and a stepson, Bradley.
Jean was born May 30, 1944, in Nashville, Tenn., the daughter of George and Margaret Spain Head. She married Russell P. McCullough on July 1, 1978, in Nashville.
Jean was a registrar at Mercy Medical Center for over 20 years. She was an active and very faithful member of Antioch Christian Church.
Jean enjoyed quilting, card making, gardening, baking, travel with her family, and especially the time spent with her beloved family and many friends.
She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friend, whose memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved her.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Gideon Bible Ministry.
