Jellings, Phyllis Snoddy
Phyllis Snoddy Jellings, 93, died Sunday, May 1, 2011, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics after a short illness.
In her passing, she leaves two daughters, Joan (Gary) Keiser of Williamsburg, and Jill (Carl) Wycoff of Nevada, Iowa; stepson, Jerry (Mary) Jellings of Oelwein; and stepdaughter Jill (Steve) Lueken of Colesburg. Also seven grandchildren; five stepgrandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; five stepgreat-grandchildren; one brother, Delbert (Helen) Romberg of Ocala, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Jack Snoddy; second husband, Don Jellings; her parents; one brother; and three sisters.
Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, May 5, at St. Paul United Methodist Church, Williamsburg. Pastor James Parks will officiate. Burial will be in the Pilot Grove Cemetery, rural Williamsburg. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Powell Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Williamsburg.
A memorial fund has been established for St. Paul United Methodist Church, Williamsburg.
