Fire heavily damages northeast Cedar Rapids home
CEDAR RAPIDS - Firefighters remain on the scene of a fire at 3206 Prairie Dr. NE.
The battalion chief says one person lives in the home. He was home at the time of the fire but got out safely. The chief says no one was hurt.
There is extensive damage to the house, specifically the roof. The fire crews used ladders to fight the fire on the roof. Crews arrived on scene at 5:23 a.m.
