Ricklefs, Anna
Anna Faye Ricklefs, 82, a life long resident of Central City, died Thursday, Nov. 26, 2009, at Northbrook Manor Care Center, Cedar Rapids. Services: 11 a.m. Saturday at United Church of Christ, Central City, by Pastors Mark Woldruff, and Mary Taylor. The family will greet friends 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the church. Burial: Mount Clark Cemetery, Central City.
Survivors include her husband, Delbert; son, David (Jan) Ricklefs of Iowa City; grandchildren, Kristin (Joe) Greathouse of North Liberty, and Kathy (Kyle) Christianson of Minneapolis, MN; great-grandchildren, Allison and Emily Greathouse, and Taylor Christianson; and brother, Joshua Fuller of Manchester.
She was preceded in death by her parents; six sisters; and eight brothers.
Anna Faye was born Feb. 5, 1927, in Central City, the daughter of Arby “Ray” and Philena (Baily) Fuller. She was married to Delbert Ricklefs on Nov. 4, 1944, in Cedar Rapids. Anna Faye retired from Rockwell Collins in 1982. She was a member of the United Church of Christ, Central City, and the Women's Fellowship.
A memorial fund has been established in Anna Faye's memory.
