Hayes-Ferns, Anna M.
Anna M. Hayes-Ferns, 91, of Central City, formerly of Muscatine, passed away Sunday, Jan. 22, 2012, at St. Lukes Hospital in Cedar Rapids. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Island Cemetery, Fruitland, Iowa. A Memorial Service also will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday at the Jordans Grove Baptist Church in Central City.

Anna M. Hoehns was born on Nov. 3, 1920, in Lincoln, Mo., the daughter of John Henry and Margaret Elizabeth (Schenewark) Hoehns. On March 23, 1946, Anna was united in marriage to Howard Hayes in Sedalia, Mo. He passed away Feb. 2, 1967. Anna later married Russell Ferns on Oct. 17
