Bolsinger, Esther E.
Esther E. Bolsinger, 89, of the Hallmark Care Center in Mount Vernon, formerly of Cedar Rapids, died Friday, June 17, 2011, at the Dennis & Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy in Hiawatha after a short illness. Services at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories. Burial at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call at the Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday.
Survivors include two sons, Joe (Janet) of Marion and Dave (Linda) of Cedar Rapids. She is also survived by five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, six sisters and three brothers.
Esther was born November 29, 1921, in New Albin, the daughter of William and Fernie Reeder Wiemerslage. She married Deamond J. Bolsinger on March 28, 1942, in Lansing. He died in 1971. Esther was a homemaker. She enjoyed cross-stitching, cooking, baking and especially the time she spent with her beloved family.
