McMinn becomes 10th commitment for 2011 Hawkeyes
Rochester (Ill.) defensive end Riley McMinn, a 6-foot-7, 225-pounder, is the 10th player to commit to play football at Iowa in 2011, according to Rivals.com.
Last fall, McMinn led Rochester with 5 1/2 sacks and shared the team lead in tackles for loss (13).
McMinn's high school coach, Derek Leonard, told the State Journal-Register in April that colleges have been attracted by Mc-Minn's combination of size and speed.
McMinn had 11 offers, mostly from Big Ten schools, including Wisconsin.
