Linn County Fair

Got fair? Linn County does! Head to Central City this weekend for some good old fashioned fair fun. Of course there's a Truck “n” Tractor Pull, Go Kart Racing and a whole carnival for kids of all ages. Not to mention 4-H events, wine tasting and the LogHogger Chainsaw Carving Auction. Plus there's great entertainment lined up all day every day, including Firehouse tonight and The Bellamy Brothers on Friday. For more fair fun,

Uptown Marion Market
Saturday, July 10
If you're a fan of the market in downtown Cedar Rapids, then pop on over to Marion this weekend. The Uptown Marion Market features some 50 vendors selling produce, baked goods, honey, wine, flowers, salsa and artisan gifts. Grab breakfast or lunch. Plus enjoy cooking demonstrations, inflatables for the kids, demonstrations by Master Gardeners and performances by a steel drum band.

Follies 2010
Saturday and Sunday, July 10 and 11
The show must go on! And it will as Orchestra Iowa presents Follies 2010, “Viva Las Vegas.” Catch the ever popular Broadway-style revue as it rolls into Cedar Falls celebrating the high-rolling fun and bright neon lights of Vegas. Singers, dancers, comedians and the Follies Kids will transport you to the city that never sleeps. Performances are also July 17 and 18.
